All of these groups planned and worked together on organizing these projects during the advocacy portion led by Angela Oh during the creek week session. They are hoping to actually pursue these project ideas and plans and are currently working to fulfill all their goals of raising more awareness within their community.
Group 1 - This group is planning on hosting a cleanup at Seal beach some time next year. They plan on making a cleanup much more exciting with games, carnival-style.

Group 2 - This group is researching the comparisons of the chemical measurements they assessed at all five locations they visited. After completing the water chemistry tests at each location, they have organized their data and plan on presenting a power point and poster presentation on the scientific data they found.

Group 3 - This group is hosting a recycling competition between the various districts of PAVA Jr. They may even host their own cleanup location during the coastal cleanup day with Heal the Bay and organize their competition for PAVA Jr. members then. Each district will collect recyclable items, with which this group will help donate to an organization of their choice.

Group 4 - Group 4 will create a documentary video focusing on the effects of humans and pollution on the biological aspects of the water in Los Angeles. They will have costumes and focus on how much of the pollution and trash come from people and how we can better our habits to help the environment.
